The Mako Twin by FCD Surfboards was inspired by the brand's original Mako model, with some key updates making it more compact and more buoyant with a fun, upright twin layout. This board works well for going straight up, or driving into hard turns better than you would on a traditional twin. It's a bit looser than a regular shortboard, but also has enough hold and drive for fun waves. It's got a single concave to slight vee and the wings give you a pivot point and a bit more stability and control when needed.
Made from Marko® Beaded EPS, which has tight fusion between the beads and is very strong and lightweight. It's recycled and recyclable.
Epoxy resin which is light, strong and produces less VOC's than traditional resins. They use at least 2 layers on the bottom to increase the strength and to protect the integrity of the board when it's being sanded.
